would love to see us target:
James Daniels, G
Justin Reid, S
Kristian Fuiton, CB
Bobby Wagner, LB
Azeez Ojulari, EDGE
well, I got one I was hoping we'd get

Samuel played for Staley in LA so that might be an option

Changed the OP format to make it easier to find move types, and added the MVS move
WR a huge need now imo

looking at who's left:
Jedrick Wills, turn him into a LG...
kick the tires on Kupp or Cooper at WR, or look at a guy like Agholor or Chark...
Tre White is still available at CB, b/c there's not much out there in terms of quality other than him...
re-sign Willie Gay or go get our UDFA diamond in the rough Joe Bachie
and bring back Jameis!
and there are still alot of big, well known names out there... gonna be interesting to see some of them out of the league or on a PS somewhere

Tre'Davious White is still out there, but he's probably the only guy out there that I would say is a potential starter
He really fell off a cliff last year. Has had multiple surgeries. He would have to give us the hometown discount.

i'm ok with that... but there's really nobody out there, at CB, that makes you that much better... Ward would have been about the only one, once Adebo was off the board, and even he is going into the downside of his career

If Slay only got 10 mil I like our chances of getting a good corner in FA.

The corner market makes no sense.
Darius slay gets 10, but adebo gets 18 annual off a big injury

Age mostly. Slay is nearing the end and teams are scared to lock a guy like that up for big money or long term. Adebo has a ton of that upside, so the Giants are hoping he proves to be a cb1 for years to come.
If we went after a guy like Gilmore, we could probably get him for 5-8 mil for a year. If we go after Samuel Jr, we are looking at probably around 15 mil on a long term.
Not saying I do or don't want either, but that's how it will play out.

Gilmore is a baller but I bet he signs with a playoff team. He usually waits to sign till after training camp.

Floyd has been with Staley at two of his stops and would be a perfect stop gap guy to help us move to the 3-4 (if he is cheap)
Dante Fowler is a pretty good olb. He can be had for much cheaper than Floyd after Floyd signed with Atlanta for 10 mil fully guaranteed.

You can never go wrong with Crusaders.

Gotta balance the force with a Jesuit Blue Jay still on the roster

Looks like we signed DL Jonah Williams, who played for three different teams last year

One bidding war the team seems to have lost is for former San Francisco 49ers cornerback Charvarius Ward. Ward joined "The Ride With JMV" and shared that he actually thought he was signing with the Saints until the "last minute" before the Indianapolis Colts swooped in and got a deal done.
"Originally, I thought I was going to New Orleans," Ward said. "The deal was almost done. Then the Colts, I guess they realized how great of a player I am, and they came in and kind of beat out the Saints at the last minute."
