Quincy Carter? That's vicious.

Of course PFF had Caleb Williams, Drake Maye, and Michael Penix rated ahead of Jayden Daniels last year, so what do they know.

Bridgewater is a good QB, just the ceiling is really limited. Worth a late 1st, I'd say so for a team like Pittsburgh who's built well.

9th with holes at every position? Nope

He may have been a better passer than Milroe.

Not any worse than Kenny Pickett or Teddy Bridgewater.

I don’t know how old you are, but Kenny Pickett and Teddy Bridgewater are easily much better QBs than Quincy Carter.

But then again, maybe this explains why you start so many bad QB threads. QBs are either all time greats and everyone else is bad. Maybe you are just incapable of detecting nuance.

Very odd comparisions. I cannot see any comparison between Ward and Roethlisberger. That is puzzling.

Quincy Carter played one full season and went 10-6. He wasn’t a horrible player he just couldn’t develop as a passer. He was also a 2nd round pick that was easy for Dallas to move on from.

So he was “bad at make football go forward in the air”, but was a good quarterback.

He was a .500 quarterback out of the second round. Had a 10 win season. And the cowboys moved on from him. It’s not like he train wrecked the cowboys

I said “he wasn’t a horrible player”

He was a 2nd round pick. He was 18-16 as a starter.

Of course we have to sensationalize everything

So by your logic, you will concede that Derek Carr, a 2nd round pick who has gone 14-13 as a starter for the Saints is not a horrible player.

And if you want to compare further, you can take into account Carr’s 4 pro bowl appearances and that he has lasted a dozen years in the NFL to Quincy Carter’s three years. Also, Carr has a 92.8 passer rating, 65% completion rating and 257:113 TD to interception ratio compared to Carters 71.7 passer rating, 56% completion rating, and 32:37 TD to interception ratio.

So if Quincy Carter is not horrible, Carr has to be at least a better than average NFL QB right?

Oh I didn’t realize Carr was on a rookie deal. Apples to oranges

On Carr’s rookie deal he threw for 113 TDs and 42 ints and had a 61.4% completion rate and made 3 pro bowls, compared to Carters 32 TDs and 37 interceptions with a 56% completion rating, 0 pro bowls and no extension or resigned contract.

So if Carter wasn’t horrible, Carr was at minimum above average, right? Or will you throw out some other asinine qualifier like combine numbers or college stats?
