Way to make sure Winston has nobody to throw to, Sean.

Double Calloway. Wouldn't worry about covering any of that other PS fodder we have on the roster.

Jesus its terrible. They could have done anything and it would have been an upgrade.

Certainly there are some WRs that were cut from other teams that they could consider.

WR and CB depth are the two positions I’m mainly concerned about for the saints this year.

We’ve got Thomas recovering from surgery, Lattimore serving a suspension and really can’t afford to lose anyone to injury. It’s really a shame we neglected getting a WR in a draft these past few years. I think Tre’quan Smith was the last WR we drafted?

Run game and control the clock, play solid D…games are still very winnable

We are fine at WR

Not like there’s any way to upgrade at this point anyway

Drafted Baker this year and he’s already been cut

Y’all act like less jameis pass plays is a bad thing

Run that MF football well like we did in ‘09 and ‘11 and let Jameis make deep / safe throws and we might frick around and win 14 games

Calloway/Harris are fine. Kamara will get a ton of catches too.

Obviously prefer if we had some proven guys, but those two have a ton of talent.

He talked about this in the past. There are players with a lot of talent and would fit in the system; however, it is a complicated system and they need to make sure they have the right person that can pick it up

I took it as his excuse to not go after offensive weapons after 1st cuts, but I can see some validity in his statement

Kamara , taysom , trautman, and juwaun johnson as receiving threats outside of the wr position, to go along with trequan , Calloway , and deonte harris at WR, isn’t terrible. Harris is underrated.

If the oline plays well, offense will be alright .

Kamara is the only offensive skill player who would see playing time on any other top tier offenses like the Chiefs, Bucs, Bills, Packers, or Cowboys.

Well yea it would be great if we had multiple skill players better than the skill players on the best teams. Solid point.

And I don’t even agree with your point entirely… Calloway would see PT on the chiefs , bills , and packers

The point is the Saints shouldn't be that shallow at the skill positions. Sean has let the WR position fester for far too long and it always rears its ugly head.

This. We need to find a way to use him similar to the way KC uses Tyreek Hill
