I am enjoying him eat a gigantic humility shite sandwich. His POS father needs to get in front of a camera when the kid doesn’t get drafted and apologize for ruining his son’s career. Popcorn is ready.

The most insane part of all of this is how Hunter is somehow modest and apparently hardworking/appreciative while being Deion's actual jewel prospect/recruit/player

So glad the jags got him. It’s cliche as hell but you can tell that kid has such an aura of natural confidence mixed with an actual desire for greatness. Just has an intentional presence that I don’t see from a lot of younger guys.

I think the general belief is that Shadeur is uncoachable unless it’s Deion coaching him

Perhaps the refusal to discuss NFL concepts was due to the fact that he couldn’t process them or was never exposed to them . The refusal to allow him to do all the drills the scouts wanted on Colorado pro day makes you wonder if he had weaknesses Dad was trying to hide . The approach S.S. chose during interviews makes a staff wonder if he is coachable and can take criticism . Can he represent the face of the organization with class or will he go off like a loose canon ? I can see why they passed on him . He needs to get on a team as a free agent and sit on the practice squad with a large slice of humble pie .

Reminds me of that dad on the OT who never got his 17 year old a SSN because he is making a statement against the system. Man, you really screwed your son

They are smart enough to know that behavior would take him off many draft boards

They are also smart enough to know there wasn’t that many looking to draft a QB at all. Think the Sanders tried to pick the team and lost.

Sanders is the real life version of the QB represented by Diddy from off the movie Draft Day.

I had a ton of problems with Sanders. It was clear you had to deal with his father when dealing with him which is a turnoff for most. He definitely seemed to have an ego problem, and not in the way you want for a QB. He’s rangy which sometimes will work out(see Jayden Daniel’s), but often can make you more susceptible to injuries. His accuracy and arm strength were never overly impressive to me as well.

I don't think it's insane. I think Deion knows Hunter is the best player he's ever coached. And Hunter knew that hitching his wagon to Deion would get him a lot of exposure.

That was a mutually beneficial situation that both took advantage of.

one thing that has popped up constantly were teams concerns over his ability to run an NFL offense because what he was running at Colorado was so simple.

The other things sound believable but this simply isn't true. The Colorado offensive coordinator for last season was former NFL HC & OC Pat Shurmur. It wasn't like Shedeur was playing in a Gus Malzahn, Lincoln Riley or any such air raid offensive system. Jaxson Dart went much higher & Kiffin's offense only required Dart to make half field reads.
