I was in a rush to snag some seats for the Sugar Bowl and I grabbed one in Section 342. Good price and decent vantage point.

Anyways, I see now that just two sections over beginning in section 340 you get access to the club level lounge area. I don't believe, technically, that 342 has this access.

The tickets are priced about the same right now. Is it worth my time to sell my current ticket and buy a new one in Section 340? If 340 has access to the club lounge and 342 doesn't, I'll take the time to swap them out.

But if anyone has experience just accessing the club lounge anyways, even though technically their section wasn't supposed to have access, then I'll just hold tight.

So what do you think? Will security give me trouble trying to slip into the club lounge from 342?

I have season tickets in 314. At least for Saints games, yes they do care.

You need a club ticket for the club areas.

Thank you for the info, appreciate it.

Follow up question - is it worth taking the time to sell my current ticket so I can buy the other?

What amenities are you seeking?

Really just two main things: 1) easy access to drinks and 2) a bar / common area where my friends and I can meet because we're all sitting in different sections.

You’re friends can’t meet you if they don’t have club tickets

The amenities aren’t anything special

It is very unlikely that you will be able to sneak in to the club lounge without credentials. They are very strict about checking. For the Saints games I sit in 326 which is in the loge corner where club passes are available for purchase but not required. I nave had club passes in the past but not in a while. But you absolutely need a pass to get in. It is like watching the game from a nice sports bar or hotel lobby.

How exactly does this work? When / where do you purchase?

I'm in the loge corner as well.

It has been a few years but in the past the Saints ticket holders in these sections paid less for the tickets because they did not include the right to go in the club lounge but had the option of buying the right to go in. This was through the Saints ticket office. I don't know about the Sugar Bowl.

I’ve sat in the bunker club seats many of times. Not sure how it compares to the lodge club. Basically like this guy said. It’s spread out more with couches and tvs, and less crowded. Also they serve better food and hardly no lines for bathrooms.

You will have to show your ticket and get a stamp to get into the club section. If the section isn't a club section you won't be able to get in. Benefit of the club is that they serve drinks in the 4th quarter and after the game ends. It's nice to grab a few drinks and wait for the masses to leave, then walk out.
