I get that drafting an OL if needed but I saw a tweet tonight that said, since 2002, the Saints lead the NFL in using their first round pick for either an OL or DL. They’ve done it 16 times.
Most of these guys stay injured. Would it kill this franchise to draft a qb? All we heard all week was they were all in on Dart.
They are the epitome of a letdown when it comes to everything, especially the draft. It’s never exciting.

I mean I guess they could have drafted a qb they didn’t believe in to make it exciting

Yeah let’s use the 9th pick to draft a guy that was over drafted at the 25th pick

Why not draft Kyle McCord 9th overall. Would that make you happy? Probably not because you sound like a whiny little bitch.

You’re complaining because they didn’t draft Dart at #9? Time to go to bed junior.

I don't think drafting linemen is the problem. I think drafting in general is the problem.
The Saints just can't get out of their own way with bad decisions.

The Saints fans are the worst. Taking a QB in the first round of this draft is not smart. Tennessee taking Ward was the "safe" pick. I bet in 4 years they are looking for another QB. How many 1st round QB are successful currently in the NFL?
Trey Lance was beat out by the last pick in the draft. Mac Jones is on his third team. Fields is on his third team. Between 2000 and 2019, 56 QB were selected. 26 were considered successful. 46% success rate.
With taking a QB, if he is mildly successful (but not considered great) a team is going to pick up the 5th year option and pay a lot (Tua for example).

Saints have drafted an OL or DL in the first round in every draft since 2015 (except year without a pick).
Saints haven't drafted a QB in first round since Archie Manning.
The streak has to end one year
