If these last two weeks didn’t tell you how badly this team needs MT13 then nothing will. The receivers can’t get open. Nobody requires a double on our receiving core. Then add in poor offensive line play and it’s a recipe for a terrible offense. A lot of fans have been screaming to trade Thomas. If you watched the saints the last two weeks and still believe they should trade Thomas then you are extremely clueless. The Patriots are going to double Kamara and force some of our receivers to beat one on one coverage. This week is going to tell us everything we need to know about our receivers ability to beat one on one coverage. Players were open some last week but not enough to feel confident.

Hopefully we get him back by week 8. This team can win some games without him but not consistently.

I doubt they "double" Kamara. Doubling Kamara out of the backfield would leave some major holes in the scheme. Now if they try to scheme Kamara out of the game; I wouldn't be surprised. A true double team, however, is highly unlikely.

I mean when you don’t have any receivers that can beat their secondary then it wouldn’t really leave many holes. But yeah they will use a combination of things to take Kamara out of the game.

If he comes back with his head on straight, he can make a difference or …. be cancer in the locker room. Best would be he comes back, has a few super games highlighting his skill set & make a trade.

i don't disagree but my fear is that once he does come back teams will take him away and make the other WR's have to step up.

if that does turn out to be the case this won't end well.

But he could also come out on top here anything is possible I just wonder....

We don’t need Winston forcing Thomas the ball and throwing INTs. Y’all keep forgetting that Brees made Thomas. We will see that soon.

The most important aspect of having thomas back is the very thing we make fun of him for. Having “slant boy” back not only provides a receiver that is reliable but also offers a quick and reliable option that would allow Winston a quick pass if we continue to struggle with blitz pick ups. As soon as you show you can beat the blitz teams become less aggressive and would in turn allow or other less experienced receivers time to beat a db.

How long has it been since we've seen Michael Thomas look like he needed to be doubled?

The guy will be coming off surgery. I think it's a pretty large leap to expect Michael Thomas to an elite WR when he comes back.
