Whatever happened to Keith Poole #83?

I saw the other topic about the QB Buck and for some reason the image of Keith Poole catching a long pass in the middle of two 49ers and getting up with his pads all disheveled and his helmet off and signaling a first down.

Keith Robert Strohmaier Poole (born June 18, 1974 in San Jose, California) is a former professional American football wide receiver in the NFL for the New Orleans Saints and Denver Broncos from 1997 to 2001. Poole was a stand out receiver at Clovis High School in Clovis, California and played collegiately at Arizona State alongside quarterback Jake Plummer. In 1997, he and Plummer helped lead the Sun Devils to the Rose Bowl only to lose to Ohio State 20-17.
Poole was selected by the Saints in the fourth round of the 1997 NFL Draft. In his five year NFL career, Poole caught 96 receptions for 1,734 yards and 11 touchdowns.
In November 1998, he was sentenced to two months of probation for attacking a man with a golf club. He was fined $4,500, team and league officials said. (Forgot about that)

Keith Poole used to be my favorite player. It always seemed like he was getting demolished up the middle after making a nice grab. I have been looking for a throwback Keith Poole jersey for a while, if anyone knows where to find one.

The last play I remember Poole in on was when he got sandwhiched in the middle of the field and got knocked the frick out! I think it was one of the first few games Aaron Brooks started. I've always wondered what had happened to him after that. He was literally out cold for at least 4 or 5 minutes on the field. Never saw him again after that.

I used to have an autographed one.
He hung out with my sister and her friends and I still have an Arizona State pullover with his name in the collar from when he played there that he left at our house or something. He joined the 'White Flight" after Ditka left along with stars like Jarod Tomich, Chris Bordano, Rob Kelly, and Billy, Bobby, and Betty Jo.
My one lasting memory of Keith Poole though is him getting deep on Deon for a TD LOL. It was the beginning of the end for Deon.
