Fuaga, Banks and Penning will compete for the tackle spot. I really think Banks plays LG this year then bounces to tackle next year when Penning is a FA. Penning is then let go and we draft an OG next year.

Why do yall want to keep taking players out of their natural positions like this? Penning nor Banks are guards. We did it with Peat, turned a solid tackle into a below average guard. It’s a horrible idea.

So is Xavier Truss, who played LG his entire time at Georgia until last year when he had to take over at tackle due to injuries.

Friend of mine in our group text mentioned him while I was having a meltdown about guards. Wonder if he’ll last to saints. Buddy is a Georgia fan.
