I love that he has the balls to stick to his conviction. I don’t think he gives a good goddamn what internet nerds think.
Not to say Shough won’t suck. But I think Moore going with his guy, knowing he’d be unpopular with the fanbase, and saying “frick em” and going with who he wanted, is more encouraging that he’ll succeed. Even if it’s not with Shough.

I hope to heavens you’re right - but what an insane take. A first time head coach is now getting the support for sticking to his gut on a Daniel jones level pick. Even if he know he’ll piss everyone off at least he has his intuition

Daniel Jones was the sixth pick in the draft dude … calm down … but yes I would have much rather the saints draft whoever you wanted them to draft … that is what a successful franchise does .. draft whoever the majority of fans want them to draft
