Right before elections seem to be full moons for shooters in US. Seems to be happening every other day. Need to get the election over so we can get back to safety.

Gunshots fired into a crowd at an outdoor gathering in Virginia early Sunday left eight people wounded, officials said.

The shooting happened around 2:20 a.m. in the 1500 block of Devon Lane in Harrisonburg, where an unknown individual or individuals fired multiple times into the crowd, the city tweeted Sunday.

The eight shooting victims, ages 18 to 27, all suffered non-life-threatening injuries, police said. Five of those injured were treated at Sentara RMH, while three others were transferred to UVA.

Investigators believe the incident was isolated to the gathering, and there is no threat to the public.

Wonder what type of gathering it was?

The victims ranged in age from 18 to 27. It was not immediately clear if any students from James Madison University were among those injured.

"The incident occurred at 2:20 a.m., when an unknown individual or individuals fired multiple times into a crowd at an outdoor gathering," Harrisonburg police said in a statement

Just a guess, but I am thinking this area is akin to the Highland/Thomas Delpit corridor near LSU

Looks like I may he right

8 people shot.

No deaths.

Hmmmmmm. Is there a group of people that don’t have particularly good aim out there?

One more in the hands of someone who knew how to hold a weapon correctly and maintain proper gun discipline probably would have.

Google map that location. That part of Harrisonburg looks nothing like the area of Baton Rouge you mentioned.
