Both were special parts of my childhood. But since I wasn't the best skater, I'll go with Fun Fair Park.

Only the dorks skated Friday nights. Leo’s was happening.

I can remember as a kid, my Aunt Sue would take me to Fun Fair Park every time I’d visit in the ‘70’s. Good days indeed!

My cousin hit a woman's bumper car so hard one Saturday night at Fun Fair that the stick that ran to the ceiling for power broke clean off and made a hellacious racket clamoring around before it stopped. A bunch of people (he and I included) had already received warnings and they shut the whole bumper cars down for the rest of the night. This was probably 1994.

I was a very skilled roller skater but unfortunately I was unable to parley it into anything profitable.

Leo’s Skating Rink didn’t have a smoking monkey so give me Fun Fair Park.

My aunt lived in Goodwood Homesites right behind FFP. She’d drop me & my cousins off on $7 band night when they opened & we’d walk home when they closed at 10:00. I think I had birthday parties at Leo’s three years in a row. Those were the days…
