Adventureland Kids daycare owner dead

Misty Trahan (spelling?), owner of the Prairieville daycare, has died. I remember she was the subject of a big thread on the OT a while back over her drug issues, or maybe it was her son's drug issues - I can't remember.
I'm of course sympathetic towards her family, regardless of whatever issues they had, but does anyone here know what happened? She apparently died at her home.

Yeah, I used to see her every day when she was dropping her kids off at school. She was a very attractive woman. I think half of Dutchtown probably stayed at that place at some point, so I'm sure somebody will have the scoop.

Damn. She hired me to do some website work back in 2012. Payed a pretty large deposit then never responded to any of our emails or phone calls after our first meeting. Never understood wtf happened. Then I saw the thread on here about the daycare...

She had a brain injury of some sort a while back or so I heard. I tend to believe it.

I remember talking to her when we signed my kid up over there. She came across to me as a huge bitch.

My wife worked for her one summer while in at LSU. She said if people had any clue as to what goes on there, nobody would send their kids there.

At Dutchtown or tournament ball? My son played with him too, had some experiences with the daycare too but nothing bad like I've seen reported.

She owned the 3 in Ascension that is all I know. Her and her ex had a nasty divorce as well, I believe she still owed him money since he bankrolled her starting the daycare.
