Air Conditioning Companies in Baton Rouge

I need to get a check up for my AC and probably get it charged with Freon before the summer. I heard an ad for River City Air on Culotta and The Prince but their Google reviews are bad.
Can anyone recommend a good AC company in Baton Rouge? Thanks.

I'm also in need of a quality AC company.
Called River City/One Hour Air two summers ago about the unit not blowing cold. Only 4 years old. Guy comes out and says it needs coolant but that he couldn't find a leak. Spent about 30 minutes "trying to find the leak" and adding coolant, charged me $565, and spent about another 30 minutes trying to sign me up to a bullshite pre-paid services subscription. I will never use them again.
Obviously now I'm in the same boat where the unit won't blow cold again and still need an actual repairman to work on it.
ETA: Oh I almost forgot. He also spent alot of time trying to talk me into considering the great deal they would give me on replacing the entire unit.

B&D. I have used them for plumbing and a/c for 13 years and have been very happy with them.

B&D Heating & AC on O'Neal lane. Been in business since the 70's. Ask for Mike. They can put you on a maintenance plan for clean and checks twice a year. I'm a satisfied customer.

No free inspection for duct cleaning? They're slipping.

Oh yeah I forgot all about that.
Also gave me information on how great of a deal I would get on an attic entrance cover and how much energy efficiency it would create, even though my attic entrance is in my garage.
Seriously, are there any AC companies that will send a competent repairman to correctly diagnose and fix a problem as the primary and/or only goal? Or will they all try to band-aid and sell you a load of superfluous bullshite?

At one time or another I've used almost all of the companies mentioned here and found them wanting. I've now been using Carl Rogers with Southeast Heating and Air for the past five years and am very satisfied.

Avoid One Hour/River City. They are awful and overcharge.
Call Joe with Cajun Coolers. He replaced my 4 ton with a 5 ton Train unit for 4k installed with a 10 year parts and labor warranty.
