Has anyone done it? Favorite parts of the trip? I leave in two weeks

Which ports are you stopping in? We didn’t recently and loved every part of it.
My favorite parts of the trip were kayaking at the first stop and doing a fjord zodiac tour on the second.
Eta:
We went whale watching in Victoria, and honestly I could do without that. Not that the whales were cool, but because we saw whales off the cruise ship, on a glacier tour, and on the zodiac tour, so I kind of wished we spent time visiting Victoria.

Inner passage, Juneau, Skagway, Ketchikan and I think Victoria BC

Skagway was awesome. I think that’s where we did our zodiac tour in the morning.
We then just walked around the town, visited the museum, and ate at a BBQ joint that was awesome

When they started up the tour bus in Skagway it had a cammed V8. I was like what? Boyd Coddington had re-furbed them at one point.

My dad’s on it right now…

The travel board has a ton of useful info if you haven't already read the posts on there.

Favorite part was being in a 200 square ft room with my wife and 2 kids under 5. Close second was carrying double stroller off and on ship for each excursion.

Did that one several years ago.
You have to go to the Red Dog Saloon in Juneau.

I mean, you did it to yourself. Why go on a cruise to Alaska with 2 kids under 5 unless you were searching for pain?

Rented a car in Juneau when we went and went to some hole in the wall bar called Sand Bar and Grill. The fish and chips were the best we've ever had. If you go you won't be impressed with the decor but just know you are eating where all the blue collar Juneau workers eat. The grill area was steady busy with patrons. Also went and saw the mendenhall glacier first thing before it got busy and made a trip to some of the other touristy places. We did go see the world's smallest Costco which is in Juneau. We stayed away from the port area because it's a tourist trap.

Yeah,its in the industrial area.
I have never been to the Sand Bar, and I know the owners. Just dont get over in that area when its serving often.
Renting a car in JNU is what I would do if possible. Most of the scenic areas are "out the road" a bit.

Juneau glacier excursion was my favorite. Helicopter ride to the glacier and then a few hours on the ice. I was a natural with crampons and could scurry up an ice wall like a roach.
Second was the train ride up the old Yukon trail route…can’t remember which city it was.

I did a Holland America from Seattle about 15 years ago. I think it was glacier passage, Juneau, Sitka, Ketchikan, quick Victoria stop and home.
I did a hike at the glacier in Juneau that was not through the cruise line. It was Above and Beyond Alaska or something like that. Was great.
Did a little kayaking around Sitka. I'm not sure what else they offered.
Crab boat tour in Ketchikan. Fun, but don't do it hung over.
Our cruise was kind of late, so we weren't in Victoria very long. That was a little disappointing.

We found a company in Juneau that will deliver a car to you at the cruise port. We have our family of 4 and Rocks so we got a 7 passenger SUV

If youre into history, Skagway is awesome. The train is far more interesting if you read about the history of that area before you go.
I lived there for a summer once, and loved it. Many of the buildings date back to the original construction of the 1890s.

Nice. Rentals have been hard to come by the past few years.
Used to be a place right by the docks that rented Jeeps.

Yep. Done it. Loved it. Zip lining in Juneau was much fun!

Did you see a few whales at the pool on the cruise ship instead of the ocean?
