I cancelled Amazon Prime a few months ago. It is incredible how slow the shipping is without it. Pretty much anything I order now Amazon sits on for about two weeks before letting it leave their warehouse.

Example: I ordered some stuff from Amazon for my son on Feb 11th and was given an initial delivery date of March 8th. On a whim I ordered the same crap from Temu the same day. The Temu crap arrived today (shipped from China) while the Amazon crap hasn’t even shipped yet.

I don’t have prime and usually order and ship standard. Granted I only order maybe twice a year, but it’s usually here in about a week.

I’m not a millineal tho so am ok having some patience.

Prime is the only subscription I have, I got a mattress delivered in 2 days.

If I cancel prime it's because I will no longer be shopping there.

So why did you shop there? You got the item from somewhere else much quicker.

my prime subscription pays for itself with the 5% visa rewards. Not by a lot but it does cover it.

What shipping like with Walmart+? Is it FedEx ground or faster?

I am just proud of you for buying something and not committing return fraud like you do to Academy

Walmart + kills Amazon in price and time. But they don’t have as much. I haven’t had trouble with freight not using prime. I make sure I get my $35 minimum to make free shipping. I don’t think the issues are with Amazon, it’s the shipping companies. You would be even more pissed if you had prime and it wouldn’t get there in two days.

I discovered the heating element on my dryer had gone out mid-afternoon, I ordered one on Amazon and it was on the doorstep 6AM the next morning.

I legitimately might consider canceling the home internet before I cancel Prime.

I think it kinda depends what you’re ordering and where it’s coming from. Dont use prime. Ordered socks and some joggers on a Friday night and they arrived monday.

I've had the same problem; canceled Prime and shipping takes much longer. I'm using Walmart+ a lot more often. Like someone else said, same or better prices, but less inventory.

Walmart is quick and has most everything. I dropped prime a couple years ago and haven’t missed it .

I don't have Walmart+ but needed the cheapest microwave I could find to bring on a trip then leave behind. WM was $15 cheaper than the lowest price on Amazon and it arrived in about 16 hours. I do have Amazon Prime. Maybe a change is needed.

I guess that’s the part I have an issue with. I don’t expect them to get stuff to me in two days or expedite a $5 item to me because I’m not paying them for Prime. At the same time, it shouldn’t take two to three weeks to get an order either. It doesn’t take them any longer to transport the item or pick it off the warehouse shelf; they just purposely provide crappy service hoping you will pay for Prime and not just buy elsewhere.

If I order from pretty much anywhere else I will get stuff within a week, no membership required. Even Walmart without Walmart+ is only two days usually.

It’s all great until Lakeisha pulls into your driveway at 9:30 at night in a 2003 Malibu belching smoke out the exhaust and a back seat full of unbuckled children.
