Since creating this thread almost two years ago, I’ve gone to this as my full time soap. Does everything you want a soap to do without drying your skin out. Smells amazing. I am regularly complimented by females about how great I smell, and I don’t wear cologne. Also, much less expensive than Squatch or DC at around $1.50/bar.

I got some Dr. Squatch bars as a christmas gift. I liked the way the smelled, but the smell didn't linger long after like other soaps. Couldn't smell it at all when I got out of the shower and got dressed.
ETA - I use the Dove soap above like High C and it smells great.

I like it when $3.22 has my balls smelling like a pre civil war barber shop.

I bought their thick body wash at lowes randomly a few weeks back. It is great.

I have used both and found that they were just too soft if left in the shower. JMHO.
My go-to is Stirling Soaps in various scents -- mostly Gatlingburg.
I found them searching for shaving soaps, and they are my current supplier. I have 5 scents in my rotation.
I have also used and liked Dr. Bronner's when I want a liquid soap. I like that I can buy it in a larger bottle and cut it by 50% with water without really affecting the performance. I have used Almond, and Peppermint is a game-changer at the end of a hot summer day.
Cheers.

I have been using Base Light soaps and solid colognes for a couple years now.

I tried a 3 pack of the dr squatch. It’s just soap. There wasn’t a oh shite moment where I realized what I have been missing all these years. Off the shelf at Walgreens is fine with me.
When I need soap I tell my wife and she buys it when she’s getting groceries. I don’t really care what she gets. I tell her to just get whatever smells good to her. Let’s be honest, she’s the only one I really need to impress with how good I smell anyway.

I really like these soaps for men. We are too mature for axe body wash.
Wife hates that I now smell like a pine tree when I get into bed though

I use Old Spice Body Wash or just plain old Dial soap. When I want to smell good, I put on some Clubman talcom powder and fool myself into thinking that not only do I look handsome but smell that way, too.
I tried Duke Cannon. Not bad, does the job.

Dr. Squatch Pine Tar and Bay Rum seem to be two of the best out there.
Those are my favorites from them also like their wood barrel bourbon and the dark side special edition one too. DC bourbon one was great too. Was disappointed in their fresh cut pine one compared to Dr Squatch.
My BIL swears by the DC Leaf and Leather.

Duke Cannon beard oil is very nice. I’ll have to try the soap.

I bought an ammo box of Duke Cannon military soaps and stuff awhile back. I'm currently using their Buffalo Trace bourbon soap. I like their products.

Use dial most of the time, but will grab Harry’s if I see it on the shelf.
Half the price of DC for a bar and smells better, imo.
The body wash lathers longer than Duke cannon thick.

Detroit Grooming and Beard Octane are my favorite beard companies out of the 20 or so I’ve tried

Dial works just fine
This. Can buy 12 bars for $4, only time I've used Duke Cannon soap it because it was part of a gift basket.

Duke Cannon makes good stuff. The soap isn't cheap, but the bars are massive (bigger than squatch) and they last forever. I cut them in half before putting them in shower. The bourbon and victory soaps are old school scents that will remind you of your grandpa. The shampoos and hair stuff is good too, but a little expensive.

I use the Old Spice with the picture of an elk on front.
