Any recommendations for cajun or 2-step dance lessons in or around EBR?

Want to get my wife (no pics) and I some swing dance/two step/cajun dance lessons for an upcoming wedding, and just for general fun/date nights. Anyone done lessons around the Baton Rouge area?

Look for the Pineapple, swingers will be there.
The O-T is rife with accounts.

Roland Doucet used to teach a leisure cajun dance class at LSU. It shut down during covid. Not sure if he started it again. Dude can dance.

Fred’s in Mamou on Saturday morning. T’aunt Sue will teach you. Just don’t try to dance on the cigarette machine.

There’s a dance studio on Government just west of Acadian, across from the shopping center. Can’t remember the name. Really good place to learn. Nice folks, very patient.
We did this for my sons wedding, I think they have special introductory deals quite often. Maybe 95.00 for three lessons. Enjoyed it a lot. Got my son and his fiancée to go as well.

UCT Hall on Florida Blvd. They have bands playing, about an hour or two before the band plays, they give free dance lessons.
My cousin has a Band called Choupique. You can Google the band or UCT Hall, should be able to get more information. About once a month or so, a Cajun group has a jam session at the Port Allen museum. I’ve been there a few times. They do a great job, they will also talk to folks after.
This is one you might enjoy, building an Accordion in 4 mins!

This is the correct answer. He was a welder before he opened the dance studio. He's a baw. Very humble and breaks it down for you. Can't go wrong in my opinion. And you'll have a lot of fun doing it.
