Anybody ever had a felon (infection) on their fingerpad?

I have one on the pad of my left thumb right now. It's apparently a fairly serious infection that can go south quickly.
Since I'm a weirdo and curious about home remedies, I am trying to deal with it at home rather than go to an urgent care facility.
So far I've soaked it a ton in epsom salt, taken some of my dog's leftover antibiotics (after googling to make sure that was safe) and popped / depussed it myself with a disinfected needle.
The infection is still there (I can feel it) and I'm out of antibiotics so unless it dies on its own I'll have to head into an urgent care facility this weekend.
Just wondering if anybody has anything else I can try.

Sounds worse than a misdemeanor infection.

Looks like you're gonna have to self-perform surgery. You have a sharp razor?

Lay off the heroin for a while

soak your finger in apple cider vinegar for 10 minutes. repeat every 4 hours until healed.

That's if it gets really bad. So far I'm not even swollen. If it's not gone by this time tomorrow I'll head to urgent care for more antibiotics and hopefully that will kill it.

Never had a felon infection on my finger, however, I have fingered a felon but didn't get an infection from her.

You don’t sound like someone who is going to heed sound medical advice but you don’t want to frick around with infections on the fingers or toes. Get it looked at if you see swelling, redness, puss or discharge, area feels warm to the touch or you are running a fever. Wait around long enough and you might end up without a finger.
