I was just thinking this when I drove down Coursey last Saturday.
There were thuggish looking people walking the street all the way from Sherwood to that Walmart Neighborhood Grocery near Jones Creek.
I get the Sherwood end, but where are they coming from close to Jones Creek?

I wish there was a way to close that apartment complex. 95% of the issues in that area come from that complex.

Exactly. Get an apartment complex in a neighborhood, let it decline over the years, rents decrease or become section 8, and the losers move in to destroy what was. frick this city.

Same here. Too close for comfort. Looks like me, you, and Fallguy are pretty much neighbors.
Oddly enough, I have never been there but I have heard good things about it.
Been living in the area since 2015. Those apartments are beginning to worry me.
I hope to be out of the area within the next five years. I may have to move up that timeline.

There was a black Jeep Gladiator taped off towards the back of the business. Also two SUVs in the front parking lot taped off. There was a massive police and news crew present, a lot more than I would think is typical, even blocking off a lane. I thought it was a homicide.

You work your arse off and build a successful business and some POS with a gun comes in and shoots you for a couple of bucks. 10-20 years ago, such a crime in that area would have been unheard of. Sherwood was never a warzone until the last 20 years or so either. Just sad what this city has become and how the trash is infiltrating good areas.
