His schtick is pretty annoying, but if it motivates some people to improve their health/life, then I'm all for it

You got to give him credit. I am not one that gets motivated by people's bullshite, I am a self motivated, but I like his philosophy/schtick. Basically, just don't be a bitch.

Andy Stumpf and other guys in the community don't respect him for how he has apparently lied about his career. He has apparently said some stuff that he has done even though he hasn't done those things. Good for him if he can fix someone's life though.

The one thing I have taken away from Goggins is not training with music. Over the years I had done more and more training with music but I can't compete with music and I see in retrospect how it inhibited my mental toughness. When I am in that personal hell I am now used to being alone with my thoughts. He simply adopted the standard mantra in the military train like you fight and fight like you train.

His story is motivating as hell, but his existence seems awful. Can’t hold on to a marriage, has no friends, but dammit he can run 100 miles.
