Anyone seeing the “Student Driver Please be patient “ bumper stickers?

And you know that they are not student drivers.
They are just people that want to avoid the confrontation that comes with being a timid driver. Some parents put it on their kid’s car. But then their kid puts a “coexist” or “mean people suck” sticker on the other side of the bumper.
And you know they aren’t driving a driving-school car.
I’d go in to the psychology of why they do it.
My fifty-something neighbor has it on his car and he told me he “gets more patience out of would-be yellers.”
It’s an odd development.
There is a market for it.
Folks are weird.

I have heard that they are popular in the DFW area on Teslas driven by Indians and their families.

Isn't it England that puts a certain color of reflective bumper sticker, yellow I think, on cars driven by new drivers? I don't hate that idea.

Anybody driving faster or slower than me is an idiot.

Oh, it's the new "Baby on Board!" sticker trying to tell other people how to drive instead of just being defensive drivers themselves.

There are two cars on the road that are guaranteed to be driven by shitty drivers, minivans and Nissan Altimas.

New Jersey requires anyone with a learner's permit under the age of 21 to have a red decal on their license plate.

This shite just shows how weak we are as a country now.

Very, very common in Seattle by exactly the type of drivers you described.

Honestly, I'd be more concerned about someone over 21 with a learner's permit. Kids learn quickly, grown ups not so much.

more often than not I think that high school kids are ordering these on Amazon and slapping them on their buddies cars as a joke.
Happened to one of my kids...I thought it was funny.

Here in Colorado if your kid has a permit and driving around you are supposed to have one visible on your vehicle

In an attempt to curry favor with their insurance companies?

The weird thing is that everyone behind me wants to drive faster than me, and everyone in front of me wants to drive slower than me.
