I mean I'm sure you can find somebody with a box and tape to seal it up before shipping.

Sheesh baw, cmon. Good cakes aren’t limited to south Louisiana. All it takes is a simple google search. I prefer Lyla’s or Lowders in SHV

Tubbs is not King Cake- it's a cinnamon roll

Cheesecakes & More- this one is lesser known because they are all baked to order. Not baked and shelved for retail sales. I had it for the first time last year and it was outstanding.
Lowder Baking Co
Julie Anne's
Fat Tuesday Sandwich Shop
Lilah's

Fat Tuesday in Bossier is good. I don’t like Lilah’s too much, but I have found it to be a little cheaper than some of the others.

King Cakes are like their donuts. Great fresh, absolutely awful later- they go stale VERY quickly.

Lilah's- Fair priced, lots of options.
Julia Anne's- Their classic king cake is the best in town.
Lowder- Not cheap but you get very good quality.
Southern Maid- They're probably kicking themselves not selling cakes sooner.

I'm not a king cake fan but Tubbs, Bergerons, and Southern maid are the ones people seem to rave over up here.
