Are there any dog breeds you consider more masculine than others?

Such as a labrador, typically masculine in the south as it is often associated with hunting, or a german shepherd which in general is typically associated with protection.
You can go as far as to delving into the world of little shite dogs if you like, the ones under 20lbs, but I'm moreso curious as to the large dog breeds.
When you're out and see a young female with a typically masculine dog breed, do you think anything of it?

Nothing says "I don't give a crap what you think of me or my dog" more than owning a pug.

Of course. Labs and German shepards are cool. Most small dogs are feminine.
Then there are pugs. They're not even feminine, they're below that.

Actually owning a pug says to me I'm a Nurse. I know 3 pug owners and they are all nurses

Thinking dogs are masculine is what leads mouth breathers to have pitbulls in their truck bed.

Isn't every animal in existence masculine or feminine?

There are male and female dogs and you can train a dog to fit certain needs, but a poodle or maltese can be deemed feminine while a german shepherd or german shorthair pointer could be viewed as more masculine, regardless of the sex of the individual animal.

They look pretty scary, but they are big baby's with children and their families. To strangers who pose a threat, wild hogs, and mountain lions they are beast. Awesome dogs.

I dont know if they are considered masculine or not, but I put a kangal/anatolian shepherd up against any dog.

Kangal's are a breed I don't even consider canine. A pit bull's bite only comes in a 290lds of force..... A Kangal comes in at 780+lbs. I consider them more of a bear. Bwahahahaha

Boston Terriers are a real gentlemans dog. They always wear a tuxedo like a boss!
