Do you find that the muscles under your scalp bulge out a little and look kind of weird?

Asking for a friend of course.

I had to look it up.. but:

quote:

No, the scalp itself doesn't have muscles, but the muscles around the scalp do move it. The scalp is bordered by the occipitofrontalis muscle complex, which is made up of the frontalis muscle in the forehead and the occipitalis muscle in the back of the head. The two bellies of the occipitofrontalis muscle are connected by a broad tendon called the epicranial aponeurosis, or galea aponeurosis. The frontalis and occipitalis muscles work together to raise the eyebrows, or the frontalis muscle can work alone to pull the forehead down in a frown.
The scalp is made up of five layers of soft tissue that cover the cranium: skin, connective tissue layer, galea aponeurotica, loose areolar connective tissue, and pericranium

I have been shaving my head for the past 5 years or so and have never noticed any scalp muscles…..so I guess the answer to your question would be no.

Are you supposed to wax and buff your scalp after you shave?

A lot of these guys will just lose it again. The low t makes their hair too weak to hold on to the scalp

Veins on the side of my head and scalp are more pronounced than the scalp muscles.

Using a razor on my head since 2016. There is no concealing hair loss - everyone will know you have a hairpiece.

I’ve buzzed my hair for so long that I had good hair when I started. I’ve never actually tried the skinhead look although I’ve been tempted.
