They can accept it just not reissue it to another customer. Have to turn over to the Fed as mutilated currency.

Tape it together and use the phone app to deposit the money order into your account--take the teller out of the equation and you don't have to wonder if it will be accepted or rejected. I saw him speak at USL in the early 80s and was fascinated by his tales. The movie didn't do justice to the stories he told. My favorite one was he was at an airport that had a night deposit drop. The airlines and car rental, restaurants etc. brought him bags of money

But your best option is to mobile deposit it. My bank doesn’t accept money orders via mobile but check to see if yours does
