In my opinion, I would see it as a disrespect to the community to buy up actual original cars, sit on them, and dismantle them to be used for customs.
That's not at all what I said they should do. I said buy original Vettes, sit on them, and wait until the pendulum swings back to people wanting original cars, then sell them at a premium.

I got a little lazy and didnt include the pics here but I think the paint job on the hood goes perfect with the car

Oh I gotcha. That would be pretty good to do.
What has become a big buy the last few years are untouched original cars. I do think the pendulum swings back in a few years and gets a little away from the 200k retro cars we are seeing today.
Speedy, I watched the online stream and they already have the girls and cameras in position

OTGT!!!!
Trav....it was a tradition thing I did every year with my ex husband. Even if the pandemic hadn’t happened I wouldn’t have gone this year cause it would have just been too painful.
I’ll go next year with whatever hot guy I’m dating at the time

Agree, and so important that if someone is going to customize their car, it is so important to keep all the documents and parts, esp the dated ones stored properly to go with the car when sold. The original owner of my car didn't throw anything away. I still have original engine, plugs, distrib cap, rotor, brake calipers, shields, battery with vent tubes. Even the unused spare tire.
When the time comes to move on from it, those will be included with the car and the asking price will reflect that.

Hope that happens nurse. Been trying to get my wife to head that way. She lived there for a few years and it would be great for her to see how much it has changed.

Those are awesome. You know my growing weakness for '57 Nomads.

I saw this exact vehicle on an 18 wheeler carrying a bunch of cars and had no idea what type of vehicle is was. I was on I-10 near Lafayette and the 18 Wheeler was heading west.
