Bars of Old Metairie

There are a lot of bars in Old Metairie. Most of them are dive bars. Beers are still very cheap at a lot of these places minus Winstons. I’m assuming most were grandfathered in with zoning laws. I really like electric cocktail. I like mamas place too because I’m slightly trashy. What’s your favorite bar in old Metry?
Same owner as Pal’s in mid city. Good cocktails.
They have bears connected next door with good poboys. It has been open since 1937. It’s on the other side of Causeway so it’s not technically Old Metairie but close enough.
The owner has a weird obsession with Marilyn Monroe. The whole place is filled with pictures of her. I think it’s the same owner as Mama’s Place.
Great place to watch football and the food is surprisingly really good. They do a survivor pool every year for the NFL that a lot of people in Old Metairie play.
My favorite bar in Old Metairie. Good cocktails and cheap. The less trashier Mama’s Place.
Pink St. Pub is a great late night bar. The old bartender from Finn McCools in mid city works here.
This bar is ok. The owner definitely posts here. Younger crowd and they cook a good steak. They need to fix their sign it’s been hanging off the front for awhile. It bothers me.
Winstons is less of a dive bar and more pricey. Great backyard and good crawfish on Sundays.
Place kind of sucks. Nola boils used to be next door which was good.
Lou and Bob’s. It’s right behind Radosta’s (Great poboy spot)

Love Mama's. You missed one of the GOATs, Lou and Bob's.

Damn. You’re right. I’ll add it.

Mama’s Place is great. They hosted a David Duke election night party once.

Blue Ruin Speakeasy is my favorite.
I still think Winston’s could do something much nicer with their back outside area, but it’s been two years or so since I was there so maybe it’s gotten an upgrade since then

Lived on Homestead for a couple of years. Loved being able to walk to Electric Cocktail, awesome place.

Electric Cocktail used to have a fine bartender with big tits many years ago. She earned that place a lot of money.

Oh look 08 is back with jokes. You are either a retard when it comes to local geography or trying to perfect your troll game.

Is the Bon A Bel still around? It was on a side street off of Bonnabel Blvd maybe Homer or a side street.

I’ve never been to any of them as I’m not from the area, but that seems like a cool little step back in time. I don’t drink anymore so I probably wouldn’t go even if I lived in the area, but a neighborhood bar would be great to have in the local area to meet people and keep a community together.
I don’t know what I’m trying to say here, that just looks cool to me and that y’all all have your ‘go to’ spots. I’m sure those walls know all the local gossip.
