It's not really that bad. I did repos in Baton Rouge for years at night. only really bad parts are under the interstates and this one area where he's filming which is around N Foster and Evangeline. There's some section 8 housing around there that even I refused to go into at night

Looked tamer than a lot of other hoods he's driven through. Baltimore is on another level of shittiness.

St. Claude Ave at 8am is mostly militant-hipster types. Night time is a different story as hoodrats from the 7th/9th Ward come out to prey on those folks.
