Not terribly far from the corn dogs was it?
Went in there every chance I could.

Yep, gotta be. It was in the middle around a turn before you went down one of the branches. Just thinking about the prices now NIB. It was all so pure with only a few systems available. They had to rely on creativity instead of realism and graphics capabilities.

You could make it any any town nostalgia thread since there was a babbages in just about every mall

I'd like an early 90s walk through of this store including each and every poster being flipped through and some of those trashy birthday cards

Yes. You could leave babbages, take a left and go towards the middle. Just before the corn dog place, you could hook a left and hit up Piccadilly or a right and there was foot locker

Yep and then trip to comics cards & coins

Babbages was just outside of sears and across from Foot locker . I think Wilson’s leather was next to it.
Electronic boutique was down by Orange Julius and Mama Brava’s.

92-94 was prime time for buying a Sierra point and click game at Babbages or EB, going home and playing the game non-stop all weekend with MTV on in the background, then returning that joker the following week by saying “the disk had a virus” and getting something new.
Management finally had to say something to my parents. Those chodes.
Space Quest
Kings Quest
Police Quest
Quest For Glory
Leisure Suit Larry

I bought WCW Wrestling for the NES there back in 1989. The game had its faults, but it was still sweet to have a non-WWF game for once and to see guys like Flair, Luger, and Sting get their due. My brother and I played the hell out of it.

I worked at the B.Dalton's bookstore right across from foot locker
