Youtube video
Summary of video:
-Animal fats are good for you
-Oils are killing you
-You are being lied to about cholesterol
-American Heart Association recommendations are basically an ad for processed oils.
-Actual science that showed all of this was buried.
-Science that is used to defend processed oils is selectively shown to you without full context
-Stop cooking with process oils and use lard, tallow, and butter instead
This is just information that I dont think enough people know. I dont care what you choose to eat...but I do think people should at least know that common cheap oils like Vegetable, Canola, Corn, etc are NOT good for you. They are making you fat and shortening your life.

Does bacon grease count? Because I save my bacon grease.

Ahh, the "natural food" boogey man. What oils are considered processed? You do realize that tallow, lard, and butter are all processed.

Absolutely

Fried chicken in a cast iron is so much better when cooked in lard rather than oil
Professed food is terrible. Replacing natural fats with sugars is the biggest contributor to obesity. Everything processed is loaded with sugar and sodium leading to obesity and high blood pressure.

Awesome! That's the best news I've had all week!

If you consider churning a process, then technically you're correct.
Not really what processed refers to, but go on.

The food pyramid is the biggest lie in nutritional history. It came out as “science” and Americans starting dying of heart diseases.

Is Olive Oil "processed?"
Even the extra virgin!?!
Even the extra virgin!?!

Processed as in you cant get usable amounts of oil from these things unless it is extracted with machinery. You can get lard and beef fat with a knife.

Extra virgin olive oil is great for you.

I asked, specifically, what oils are considered processed. Olive oil is no more processed than butter, lard, or tallow.

Yep. Read Grain Brain. It’s eye opening.

Eating well is simple, but that doesn't mean it is easy.
Shop around the perimeter of the grocery store and spend more time in the rainbow-colored section than sections that are red, white, and beige.

Vegetable and soybean are the two worst. Canola isn't great either. Are you seriously trying to argue that they aren't bad for you?

I mentioned this stuff in the semen-cupcake thread FWIW.

Less so than these other oils. You cant just squeeze husks of corn in your kitchen to get corn oil

Olive oil is good for you up to a point. When it reaches a smoking point, the compounds in it break down and create oxidizing agents / free radicals. That's what separates it from butter, lard, tallow, or other oils like coconut oil.

Did distinguish between the wholesome unprocessed semen and the dangerous processed vegetable oil?
