Woke up this morning and my AC isn't working.
I called One Hour Heating and Air but is there anyone else who's prices are decent and can come out on a Saturday?
Anyone who has used One Hour, what were your thoughts?

I'd sweat before I got ripped off by One Hour. Call Dude's Heating & Air.

Everyone and their dog over one hour ac.
I would vote for One Hour AC as worst company in BR over riverside towing.

Yep. One Hour came out one day, about 4 years ago and told me they needed to change out the whole system for $15K. Friend recommended Dude's. They came out, laughed at the diagnosis, fixed the issue for $120 and it is still working fine 4 years later. One Hour is complete attempted rape.

Carl at SE Heating and air.
Also give more information on your problem and someone on here might be able to help you diagnose the problem.
For example did you check pan under unit? If it is full of water the drain is plugged. Clear plug and AC should work fine.

One Hour AC must try to sell everyone a new unit. You could unplug a working unit call them and they would claim you need a new system.

I've used Harkin and Duvall a couple of times .. Never felt like they were trying to rip me off.

Egzactly- I had a client that changed out two units with them for $18000 and didn't even get a second opinion- I bet it was a run capacitor

What isn't working? Have you checked the drop pan under the inside unit for water?
Is the outside unit not working?
Are you somewhat handy? It may be something simple you can fix for less than the service Call cost.

They gave me an estimate on a unit which was out of line. Waited a couple of days and when they saw I wouldn't bite, called me back to give me a "special" price.
No thanks.

I went with Home360.
I'm also a fricking moron. The dude came inside, looked at my thermostat and saw the low battery icon. Changed the batteries, the fricker came back on immediately.
I paid a guy $99 to come swap out batteries that I had in my home already. He didn't even supply the batteries.
If anyone needs me, I'll be sawing off my balls.
Y'all have a great day.

See, yo started the wrong thread. If you'd asked the OT 'what's wrong' you would have been given things to try.

Ouch, was about to post batteries or pan cut-off switch....at least it was simple.

100.00 for something stupid still better than 5k for a repair or more for a new unit. Look at the positive, could have been worse!

Carl Rogers at SE Heating and Air is my guy as well. My family and I have used him for years. I recommend that be your first call for sure.
