Looking to upgrade my trucks tires from the ones that came from the factory. Hoping to go to a 33-34” A/T tire.

I’ve been seeing a lot of trucks with Ridge Grapplers & KO2s but I haven’t owned either of those brands.

What’s the best in the OT’s opinion?

I have KO2s highly recommend. 40k miles still look new.

I believe they have KO3s now.

I love ko2s and will probably never put anything else on my truck.

Ridge Grapplers are loud but they are a great all terrain tire. They do get slick in rain more so than a BFG KO2.

BFG KO are the gold standard.

Edit - Not sure why someone is compelled to down vote this. Look up about every review and BFG KO2 and now KO3 are in the top 2. BFG has been doing this for a long time, and they give you the best life, road noise and usability off-road.

Had KO2’s. Nothing against them. Didn’t hold up as long as I’d hoped.
Going Nitto or Toyo next.

Half ton, or three quarter ton truck? This makes a difference with the wear and longevity of your tires. I've owned numerous sets of Mickey Thompson AT tires on a few three quarter ton diesels. >60k miles per set

I'm running Falken Wildpeak AT4Ws and they've been great so far.

I have Nitto Recon Grapplers. I like them. They are a little quieter than the Ridge Grappler

I just put on Toyo Open Country RT Trail's. They have been good over the past 1,000 miles, including in some rain. They are quiet.

I went up a size to 275/65 R20 because I needed a set immediately and that’s what the seller had in stock. I lost about 2-3 mpg in my 3.0 Baby Duratec. But I gained 10 cool points, so it offsets.

I have ridge grapplers and they don’t seem too loud to me.

I've always ran KO2's. Nice aggressive look and rides smooth and quiet. Bought a pair of Falcon Wildpeaks and they were ok but I switched back to KO2's with my new truck. No complaints on the the Wildpeaks, just thought they looked more like road tires than AT's.

KO2s are amazing. I’ve also used Terra Grapplers a lot.

Wildcard answer because it’s not really an AT, but I love my STT Pros. Quite, not insanely heavy (these are 40s) and ride soft as silk.

Ridge Grapplers are fine, but I found them noisy. Duratracs suck horrifically.

KO2s run extremely extremely small btw. No AT or MT measures their sidewalk size, but KO2s are hilariously off. K02 35s for example will be much closer to 32s-33sFYI.

That seems like they should be hit with false advertising

Never had this experience. Running 35's right now and it's sitting true at 34.75.
