What are some good bars/clubs with and without dance floors in Baton Rouge? My wife and I are looking to go out and we’re in our mid-late 40s.

Pics of wife are needed to properly ascertain the proper establishment to recommend.
Either way I recommend Penthouse Club. They definitely have a dance floor...

This is like asking who is the straightest guy at a Cher concert.

Depends on the band, but if you are looking for upscale, Ringside next to Sullivan's can be a good time. Definitely hit or miss though.

Easily city bar in downtown Baton Rouge.
You can get your dose of the culcha, some young poon, and some cocaine all in one trip

How many steroids and coke found their way into the Station over the last 20 years?

There used to be a place called The Shelter, downtown. I’m not sure if it’s still open, but you might want to check it out. They have a dance floor.

Nightlife for the 35 and older crowd in Baton Rouge is abysmal. I guess being close to New Orleans and having LSU, limits the potential for a burgeoning nightlife scene in BR.

If you’re 35 and older you should be at home taking care of your kids not prowling around making a fool of yourself
Unless you’re 35 and unmarried in which case you can go to splash

Right, cause everyone 35 and older has kids

You can’t go out without making a fool of yourself? How do you get through life?
