License is 5 years hold. Can’t just renew online. Where do you go when you need quality quick service? At least the best you can get from the DMV? I THINK the express places and places like identigo are out of the question and I have to go to an actual dmv but if I’m wrong please let me know.

Airport rd near independence park has given me surprisingly swift service.

And the worst DL picture I've ever gotten

I went to a DMV here in Cali recently where, once you check in, they give you an estimated time clock on your phone, and send you a text when you are expected to be up within 10 minutes.

I was able to run errands for an hour then show up right before my number was called. I thought that was pretty cool.

Not trying to derail the thread, but DMV threads don't come along that often.

Now that your license is expired it might not be an option, but depending on what time you go the one at Perkins and Siegen can move okay.

The one in Port Allen is probably your best bet.

Must be nice. Here in Louisiana the DMV is operating on antiquated software that’s 50 years old. It recently had a data breach effecting everyone in the system.
OP make an appointment, otherwise you could sit in there all day and not be seen. Hopefully the day you go the systems are up and running.

Would not recommend. 2 hrs for a vehicle registration. Buyer and seller present. Couldn't leave and come back or prepay. Not sure if it was the location or DMV. Same deal took 20mins at a place in prairieville across from Walmart.

I think that may be an anomaly.

Been using them for years for everything and nearly always in and out.
