Best batting cages in Baton Rouge area

My son is playing baseball for the first time at his school. This is the first time the elementary will have a team besides the high school. No he will never do travel ball and his name is not Braiden but he wants to hit at the batting cages at celebration station. Is there any other batting cages in the B.R. area that is a good recommendation that has good prices?

Are the Skip Bertman batting cages still open? That place was GOAT when I was a kid growing up in BR.

Quick google search brought up these locations. These are the two with the highest ratings. Good luck to Kodee.
Hitter's House
Baton Rouge, LA

Red Stick Sluggers Academy
Baton Rouge, LA

I used to go there all of the time. Good times.

Marucci Hitter's House on Siegen. Not far from Celebration Station, and its all indoors unlike Celebration Station. Be ready to say "no" a lot when you walk through the store with all the bats, gloves, hats, and whatnot. Best of luck to you, and your son this season! Let him have fun, and don't get too serious.

Marucci has a place on Seigen that you can by rounds or rent by the hour.

Thanks! I just want him to learn a sport and play with other kids at his school while having fun. I will never be that parent.

You say this now... But just wait till Coach Whatever gets a few of your son's friends on the team.
Let me be the first to wish you good times on your weekend trips to Covington, Lake Charles, Hammond, and Lafayette.
Beat the rush and book your condo now for the World Series in Destin.

I’d second this, go buy a couple dozen leather balls. There are cages everywhere you look. You can get decent Rawlings balls at Academy for 30 a dozen. The Diamonds are 44.
They last years and years. I take my kids about once a week. We just go to local high school fields w cages on weekends. Most aren’t locked. I bet Baton Rouge is the same.
Pitching machines are tough for kids to learn on.

Wait till he turns a breaking ball into a gapper with the bases juiced.
It won't matter that he's 9, in your mind you'll see the bright lights, the first round draft, the contracts, the crowds chanting his name, the postgame interviews where he mentions your name, the big house he's going to buy you, and the trip to Cooperstown to see him immortalized.
Might as well just sign him up now.

My neighbor built his 5 year old son one. It’s pretty funny...he’s a travel bawler in training.
