EzGo or Club Car is what I would go with. Regardless of price.
The Club Car I almost bought a few months ago was about 16k, which was more than I wanted to deal with. So I went with a Denago Rover XL and have had several issues.
I recommend sticking with the big brands despite how the Chinese carts look.

What about this description?
$3,600
It's far as frick away from me, but I can have a buddy nearby pick it up.

This is a 2017 club car precedent with new lithium 48 volt battery. This cart is clean with a new rear seat kit, new battery, after market rims and tires. It has been programmed to run around 20 mph. It is in very good condition.

If you don't need street legal, looks pretty good.

I’m just old school. I’ve grown up driving and owning every one of Club car Yamaha and EZGo
I don’t want a Chinese made cart.
I also don’t want a lithium battery plugged into my house. I know it’s irrational but, still it’s happened.
I bought an EZGo straight from the golf course and put money into it. It’s easy and classic. Just my style.

I'm visiting the Villages next week, those folks know golf carts. I'll get back to you

Bintelli is a big brand around here...those are nice, but seem to be pretty dang expensive.
Also, OP should do some research on the local laws around golf carts vs low speed vehicles. We're going to go LSV when we buy a place so we can go further and stay out later.

We have a neighborhood very conducive to golf carts. Parking spots for them and stuff at the pool. I don’t think any are street legal, but I’ll research it. I do plan to have brake lights and head lights installed even if they aren’t on there.

Are you guys saying lithium is inferior? I feel like Reddit is saying get lithium...
There different types of lithium batteries Lithium-ion (Li-ion) and Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4). I put a Vatrer LiFePO4 battery in my ez-go a couple of years ago. It's smaller and lighter than traditional batteries and lasts a lot longer. It has a 10 year warranty where I was lucky to get 3 years out of a water battery. I wasn't the best and making sure the water was topped off at all times.

So any of these brands with newish 48v batteries is fine and I just top them off with water?
Get a cart with a single 48V lithium battery. Most new carts come with them. They need to be charged less often and for less time. They have more amperage on demand (Cart goes faster while syphoning off less juice) They weigh ~100 lbs. Four 12V lead acid (what people are calling "water" batteries) weigh over 80 lbs each. They also last infinitely longer. You will be replacing one or all of your lead acid batteries n 5-10 years.
This is a good place to start. They are expensive, but have great customer service and only sell cart specific batteries (not a huge deal, but I would be careful of the Chinese lithium batteries on Amazon)
Extreme Kartz

Go with lithium, I just upgraded my cart from lead acid to lithium. Probably 150 pounds it dropped so speed is up. Lasts longer, don’t have to deal with water, don’t have to deal with corrosion, etc.

What lithium battery did you go with? Thinking about replacing my six 8 Volt batteries with one 48 volt lithium. What ah rating did you go with?

Not sure if they have changed over the years but Club Car has an aluminum body and EZGO had a steel frame that would always rust.
Depends on your proximity to the ocean if that would make a big difference, but something to think about. Also lighter.

Mine is a RoyPow lithium ion. The top of the battery says it's 51.2V; 56Ah; 2.8kWh.
ETA: I put this in about 2.5 years ago. Looking at the ones you can buy today, it appears they've doubled the amount of Ah & kWh in their batteries.
