We've spent a couple weekends at L'auberge. Anything better in town ? What you say OT

I'm not sure this is really a "thing" in Baton Rouge. It's not as if Baton Rouge is L. A. or Vegas.

I know this isn't Vegas. Military friend coming in town. His wife might not want to stay at Casino. I didn't ask why. I just figured I would find out some other options for him

The renaissance on bluebonnet used to have something at the pool on sundays. I am not sure if there is a bar out there all of the time though.

Yea, I was sort of wondering about the guy thinking there might be multiple options here.

Staring Motel.
How much do they pay guests to stay there?

Drury... free food and drinks 4-8 and a pool

Lauberge is the only answer for BR

This is what I would do even if it's technically not the nicest pool. It's not a bad view, though.

Hilton downtown with the pool overlooking the river is nice.

Rooftop pool at that, great view, and short walks to restaurants and bars
