Eddie Murphy is definitely up there. I would have to say Daniel Tosh before he got all super famous. His earlier routines are some of the funniest shite I've ever heard in my life.

I like Louis CK and Bill Burr about equally. They both kind of have their own specific appeal. Burr might have the edge because when he really gets on a roll he can literally make me piss myself from laughing.

I don't know if it's lack of exposure or too many sensitive feelings for those in this thread that watch comedy, but Anthony Jeselnik is absolutely fricking hilarious. He is the kind of guy that can make you cringe and hate him for his jokes but you'll still laugh every damn time. Recently I discovered a chick (on Netflix) who is pretty funny. Would be a good one to sit down with the wife and watch. Her name is Iliza Schlesinger.
I love Anthony Jeselnik though. He just throws one liner after one liner out there and doesn't give a damn who he offends, although he doesn't venture much into the black area.
