I want to gift my father one for his birthday. He has always wanted one, and I would love to see the smile on his face.

Topper jewelers, crown and caliper, or Wellington and co on Royal street, Ask for Thomas.

I've got one for 350.
The seconds timer ticks and it's really light for 24k gold, but that's because its limited edition. Let me know. Have 20 other offers though so bid high.

Previously gleaned info from previous TD posts:
Try Crown and Caliber
Buying watches Jomashop is absolutely legit.
Watchuseek and timezone were mentioned. They are great sites.
Also try watchrecon.com and chrono24.com. They a basically a kayak or Trivago of watch sites. They have everything.
Only buy from guys with many many posts and if someone has a Rolex Submariner for under $5000 be suspicious. Under $4000 laugh and walk away.

Look for an Olds 98 down on the corner. Pop the trunk.

Buy him a brand new one. It’s your father.

The realreal.com isn't bad.

He and you should take a trip together to Geneva. The trip will pay for itself at the current exchange rate.
Dad and I still talk about our Rolex trip and it was almost forty years ago now ... 1983. It's one of the few things he still remembers vividly.
He is still wearing his Rolex (Presidential 18k) to church on Sundays.

I bought one once used for a bargain. Guy said it was worth much more than I was paying because they misspelled Rolex with R-a-l-e-x when they made it so it was rare. It felt a little light but he said it was the new platinum model filled with helium. He also mentioned that the good platinum can turn your wrist green.
