You know the old school safety glasses. Looked like horn rims with the top and side shields.
I used that term to my friend the other day while we were working on something and I thought he was gonna die laughing, he had never heard that before.
It got me thinking.. What are some unique terms for things that other people don't know?

Aka BCG’s
I think the full name works better TBH.
In my generation BCG = Bolt Carrier Group.

I asked a drink cart girl on a local golf course last summer if she had a pack of Nabs. She looked at me like I was crazy. The guy I was playing with also had no idea what I was asking for. So since then, I have started asking for peanut butter crackers…..

I guess it's better than starving to death.
Which makes me think about the Lance snack machines from the 60s and 70s. Their Motto was " Don't go 'round Hungry"

pack of Nabs.
My 80 year old dad was asking for these in the hospital recently. He’s never called them that. Neither the nurses or I knew what the hell he was asking for.

Looks like I got a downvote from a devout Catholic..

Those aren't bad, they look like regular horn rims instead of those gray things we had with top and side shields.

Few people know what Cat Head Biscuits are even though they probably have had them.

For electricians:
Dikes- now referred to as Diagonal Cutters (wire cutting tool)

Peckerhead- now referred to as the “motor termination enclosure” on an electric motor.

Monkey cum- now referred to as “wire pulling lubricant.”

Retard/dumbass/hey stupid/etc- now referred to as an “apprentice.”

Pockets- what your nickname would be if you got caught with your hands in them.
