Looking at buying a new construction in Gonzales, was hoping someone had info on Level Homes builders [link]
Alternative builders include DSLD and Allstar.. any bad experiences / others you'd stay away from?
thanks

I would imagine he has these options because they are the only approved builders in a neighborhood.
They are big and cheap for a reason.
Fast, Cheap, Good...choose only two.

I've known Hugh for thirty years. Always was a good builder and I'm glad he's still doing it. I duck hunted with him at the mouth of the river for many years. Great shot.

DSLD is putting a subdivision up off Hoo Shoo Too. They are throwing those things up super quick.
The site was raised about 8 feet and not once was there a compaction device onsite for the 3 years they have been doing site work.
Keeping foundation companies in business for years to come.

Just look in the attic at the HVAC evap/blower unit hanging from the rafters by straps. (not mounted to the joists)
Air ducts are all fricked pinched up because of nylon straps.....
Pex plumbing, just google polybutylene plumbing....

I'm a builder and also a contractor for a few builders. Out of all the trac builders in BR and surrounding areas Level would be your best bet if you are in the market for a starter home. Anything other than that, I'd look at builders that build custom and spec homes in the area. Level uses all builder grade appliances, fixtures, etc.
