Their website says closed for the summer but they are on the 2024 Capital Area Craft trail which started last week.

I’m assuming they are closed but wanted to ask around in case perhaps their website has not been updated.

Yes closed until September but their lack of updates has me thinking they are closed for good. Idk why because Saturdays and Sundays they were slammed but they had issues keeping people employed as well.

If doing the Capital Area Craft Tour you do not need their stamp to complete the tin.

They should be closed. Their beer was terrible.

Still closed for now, but they at least have all the animals out there. Hopefully they stay in business

It is of hot to be open in summer but I’ve never understood how all these stay in business
And unless La changes laws they are really at a disadvantage being able to sell

Last I heard (3rd/4th hand info), was that they're expanding the indoor seating and remodeling the rest of the interior as well.

Also heard, they're experiencing a hang up with getting Parish and LDH approval for their wastewater treatment system and retention ponds for their wastewater.

They've needed a change since they refuse to open the front tap room area. It causes the longest lines in the back room. I've waited upwards of 30 minutes for a beer because people look at the menu over and over then want samples or don't know what they want.

They've expanded a good deal to make it more accommodating during the heat. There has always been plenty of cover and shade along with plenty of indoor patio seating.

I did hear they won't be brewing anymore and will stick with just a set group of beers. Probably an IPA, Lager, Wheat, Sour (they just use a wheat base and add flavor it seems) and their stout. They've moved towards cocktails more it seems as that menu keeps expanding.

I was going every Sunday for brunch to listen to the band and bring my dogs. Was a nice chill place to hang out.

If they ever they get PBR on tap, I’d probably go.

They need a beer that has stood the test of time.

None of their beers were great but they consistently put out decent beer after the first 6 months or so, imo, and the space is really great as long as it's not 100 out. Every time I've ever gone it's been pretty packed, so I'd be surprised if they close it for good.
