The H&K twitter showed support to the Miller Light “we will no longer objectify women” commercial. People responded with basically “please just sell guns and shut the frick up.” The H&K media chick’s response to that is below
Which of course caused some backlash. The above tweet was deleted within hours. A day later H&K posts this:
I wish more companies did this instead of wading into political waters then doubling down when called out.

The HK girl basically said that they don't do pin up sexualization of women ads but that they're not woke
The reality is that her comments were fine, they just didn't need to be made at all because nobody cares what HK PR girl's personal thoughts on sex in advertising is.
HK responded pretty boldly as seen above. I'm as anti-woke as they come (but I am an HK fan) and I think the reaction to her comments were probably over the top. I do appreciate the outcome from HK though.

I’m fine with them getting involved. As long as it’s not them attempting to normalize mental illness and groom children. That shite needs to be called out and ostracized.
