Cambered wheels are the dumbest, most pointless, and trashiest thing you can do to a car

Tonight while driving home from work I saw a beautiful Audi S5 completely ruined by cambered wheels.
For those who don't know what that is, it's the product of those obnoxious fricks who do this to their cars:
The only purpose camber has is for improved cornering at very high speeds in race situations. Otherwise it is completely pointless, looks ridiculous, and is a trashy way of saying, "I'm trashy!"
You have to buy offset ball joints, chew through tires every few thousand miles, and feel every single pebble you run over. Additionally, the wear put on your steering rack and shocks is exponentially higher.
I don't get why people do this.

I get exactly why people do it. People are idiots and vain. It makes me feel good about my retirement account and many other choices I’ve made in life because it lets me know there’s plenty of people out there that do things like that. It also makes me laugh.

My 2017 gt with track pack is getting camber plate upgrades and a roll bar... but it is used exclusively on the track. 6000 of the 8000 miles on it are track miles.

That is inaccurate, all cars will very slight amounts of negative camber, a track car will just have a little more. That is a picture of "Demon Camber" which indeed ruins performance instead of increasing it even at 200mph on Monza's Parabolica.
