Can a Mouse Survive a Toilet Flush?

I've been trying to catch a mouse for some time now and miraculously I found him in the toilet. I gave it a flush and he disappeared. I flushed it about ten more times for good measure. The next day I see a mouse run across my living room with a limp. Not sure if it's the same one or a different one, but can they survive a toilet flush or was it curtains for the little guy?

You have a broken pipe under your trailer. You should get it patched

It is possible. Squash him next time.

Just charge him rent or teach him to cook because otherwise you're screwed:

Rodents are excellent swimmers. A rat can tread water for three days, and both mice and rats can survive being flushed down the toilet. They can also reenter the same building via plumbing, so flushing these pests away won't really work.

Or just catch it and let it go.

Someone’s gerbil is loose again. You guys realize they don’t enjoy the things y’all are doing with them.
But Hey, Have fun and be safe.

Keep at it, OP. One day, you'll beat him.

You either have a pissed off rat who knows you tried to kill him and is now seeking revenge (most likely whilst you sleep) or you have a rat infestation in your home. Either way, RIP OP.

Get a small trash can and lean a long narrow board up to the top, hang a piece of peanut butter off the end of the board.
Mouse reaches for peanut butter and falls in can
Take his to neighbors trailer and release, problem solved.
IE: We used to catch runaway hampsters this way

Buy a herd of turtles and two large pizzas. Time to start training.
