Car Headlights, seriously how bright is too bright

I head to work at 5 am every day however it seems many vehicles have the brightest kicking headlights known to man. Like seriously sometimes they pass & I'm seeing dots after because their headlights are so bright. They have one truck I see every day he has KC lights, a grill bar, white light headlights, & running lights below. Dude lights up to the road a mile away. Why? Also, if your low beams are burned out, fix them you trashy people.

I ended up going to an eye doctor and he got me some driving glasses that have really helped out. Had the same issues as you. The guys in lifted trucks with Halos/MH lights still get me. shite should be illegal to have lights over a certain candle rating.

I may need to, I flash my brights several times a morning to get people to switch to low lights. Just seems people don't care anymore but sometimes their shite is so bright I end up seeing dots

They probably aren't aimed properly. With most trucks coming with adjustable headlights, I think most are running them at an incorrect angle.

I wear my sunglasses at night.
So I can
So I can see without bright arse lights in my a-eyes.

There are multiple laws regarding the brightness, height, adjustment level, and number of forward facing lights. They are just not enforced, particularly on good ol baws.
It’s a selfish mentality. They can see great (sometimes). But don’t acknowledge the danger it presents to others on the roads.

The problem with a lot of those lifted/leveled trucks is that people don’t get their headlights re-aimed after causing a lot of those lights to be right in your eyes.

I'll ask my driver when the bourbon wears off.

The high beams in my car turn off and on automatically and I don’t like it

I have a lifted Jeep with aftermarket LED headlights. I get flashed all the time. I give it back to them and it's worse for them lol.
Alot of these newer vehicles HID and LED combination are too bright to look at it

I highly doubt that headlight brightness/technology is changing at such a noticeable pace. I would suggest you consider that the difference you note may very well be your perception of headlight brightness. I obviously don’t know your age, but early cataract could explain your changing perception of light brightness.

Mother flipping jacked up trucks with those damn LED lights directly into your mirrors.

As I’ve gotten older certainly eyesight has changed and driving at night is more difficult but even I am aware that headlight brightness and technology has changed and bright led lights are the problem. More specifically lifted trucks with aftermarket led lights not properly adjusted are the problem. Much like the douchebag above with the lifted Jeep.
