A fight broke out in the cruise terminal of Carnival Jubilee in Galveston, Texas, on Saturday morning as guests wrapped up a seven-night sailing.
Authorities report that the altercation occurred in the Customs and Border Protection area of Terminal 25, in the luggage collection zone, where passengers retrieve their bags before leaving the facility.
The 24 passengers involved were put on the Carnival’s DO NOT SAIL list and handed over to law enforcement.
A Carnival spokesperson told local media, “We will not tolerate such behavior. These individuals can seek other cruise lines, but they are not welcome on our ships.
One passenger debarking Carnival Jubilee in Galveston said the back-and-forth reportedly started the day before on the basketball court and carried over to the morning.
The disturbance comes just a week after an elevator fight aboard Royal Caribbean’s Liberty of the Seas, where an 18-year-old passenger was arrested on a felony assault charge after an altercation involving a group of young guests jumping in the elevator.
Last summer, a brawl aboard Carnival Paradise went viral after passengers threw chairs and fists in a late-night lido buffet scuffle.
A travel agent commented to Cruise Radio, “Unfortunately, bad apples are everywhere. As we have seen over the past few weeks, this is not isolated to only one cruise line.”
Carnival Cruise Line has stated that it does not tolerate disruptive behavior onboard.
Authorities have not confirmed whether any arrests were made.
Cruise lines make passengers aware of their codes of conduct, and potential penalties for guests who cause disturbances include fines, bans, being kicked off the ship, and legal action.

They didn’t forget that he took all the scrimps from the buffet the day prior.
I mean at this point this video is par for the course for public fights. Not surprising in the least. It’s not like there are any wits to settle a disagreement without resorting to physical violence. It’s all they have

Carnival has to be in a predicament at this point.
They are known as the ghetto, plank road, Walmart of the seas, and they want to be rid of that stigma.
But they chased off all the respectable customers and need the ghetto people to keep booking or they go out of business..
Ouch

Their newest one being built will the first in the line of their "Hooligan Class" of ships. It will be christened as the "Walmarks of the Seas" to be launched next year. Others are still in the design process.
