It might sort itself out. I have storm chaser fatigue. I can only watch so many tornadoes that they start to run together. It better be some terrifying shite to get me to click.

Seems like we’ve avoided this event reaching its ceiling so far, which is great. I thought we would have another day much like yesterday. There have been a lot of tornado warnings, but not a lot of the big tornadoes like we saw yesterday.

Midnight? Do these storms not have the memo on the timing that was planned for this event?

I think storm chasers certainly serve a purpose, though there are many chasers who are motivated by the things you mentioned. Chasers who are trained and behave responsibly often provide the ground truth needed to get people to actually act when a tornadic storm is coming. Studies have shown that when people have confirmation that there is a tornado on the ground, especially if there is live video of it, they will actually take action to protect themselves. In that sense, trained storm chasers are very useful.

What do you think about that line moving towards Moore? Should I be ready to run to the nearest overpass? There’s a juicy one right outside my hotel.

Overpasses are overrated. Go for the carwash but get there early it fills up fast.

Consensus on today? I've been out of the loop. I see the cell moving toward Moore, has this PM been better/worse than anticipated?

Carwash is only good for hail not twisters. They have an actual rush hour those without garages head out to get a spot. Then cars pulled half in on both ends having got there late.

Stay safe out there things are ramping up

Some sort of driving test would be great as well. Some of those yahoos think they own the road and can drive like idiots.

Just because you bought flashers off of Amazon and installed on your vehicle doesn’t mean you can be an idiot on the road.

These cells may pose a threat. We shall see how it evolves.
