I was talking about it with some buddies. My vote is Charleston.

In terms of what?

Which place would you rather go to or which do you think is nicer?

To live? To vacation? To bachelor party? To get fricked up and do hookers and blow?

Charleston.
No data to support this choice, just gut feeling.

Well I’m in Savannah and would rather be in Charleston.

My wife and I have lived in both. They are different, but it would be a coin flip.
I have more friends and experience in Charleston so I would probably have to say Charleston. Yankees are ruining it though. The last time I went there in October, so much had changed, for the worse. My old neighborhood was completely unrecognizable. "Quaint" charming areas are becoming built up yankee nests. They come to escape this shite then rebuild the shite they escaped while wiping out the things to moved there for.
Savannah is great too. But Tybee doesn't hold a candle to the Charleston barrier island beaches.

Been to both. Charleston. So much more to do

The amount of good looking young women walking around Charleston is borderline absurd.

Charleston can hold its own with NY and LA when it comes to the percentage of attractive women walking the street.

Savannah's got their share. More will spill over from Charleston, for sure.

It helps having an all girls college right slap in the middle of town.

I spent some time on Skidaway Island last year with some Savannah natives and it was like Hilton Head. I was amazed. Nothing but transplants. The SC and GA coasts have certainly been invaded.

Yankees are driving up property values in Chareston to a much greater extent than Savannah. You basically have to be rich to live comfortably in a good area in Chareston. Sav to a much lesser extent.

they're both on my bucket list

The old Gullah people in Awendaw and even up to McClellanville are being driven out one by one. It's sad to see.

Imagine that, Yankees coming down here and ruining the charm of the south.
